Venue & Accommodations
We dreamed of a wedding in France that was not only beautiful but meaningful—a place to spend a full weekend with those we love most. We found it in Château de la Bourdaisière, a 16th-century castle in Montlouis-sur-Loire that is both our wedding venue and a full-service hotel.
BOOKING PROCESS
We have reserved exclusive use of the Château’s guest rooms for the nights of Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, 2026, at a preferential rate. To simplify the process, we will work with you directly to assign rooms at the castle and coordinate payment with the Château on your behalf.

RATES
Stays range from about €120–€410 per night.
depending on size and style, and include both standard rooms and larger, multi-room suites. Breakfast is included on both Sunday and Monday morning.

Traveling to France
To reach the wedding venue, guests will need to fly into Paris and then either rent a car or take the high-speed train (called the TGV) from Paris to the Loire Valley. We chose this area not only for its beauty but also because it is easily and comfortably accessible by train from Paris.

FLYING TO FRANCE
Paris is served by two international airports—Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly (ORY)—both offering frequent flights from the U.S. and around the world. Please note, most flights departing the U.S. and traveling to Paris arrive the following day—please keep this in mind when booking to ensure you don’t miss any of the wedding festivities, which begin on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

1. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
-
Budget-friendly option: Norse Atlantic Airways.
-
CDG has a TGV (France's high-speed train) station right at the airport, so you can go straight from your flight to the train platform.

2. Paris Orly Airport (ORY)
-
Budget-friendly option: French Bee.
-
A short taxi, train or bus ride (~20 - 40 minutes) connects you to Massy TGV Train Station.

TRAIN FROM PARIS
The closest city to Montlouis-sur-Loire (location of le Château de la Bourdaisière) is Tours. Tours is the main hub for reaching the region from Paris and its airports, with frequent high-speed trains (called the TGV) connecting the two cities in about an hour.

THE TGV STATION SERVICING TOURS IS CALLED ST-PIERRE-DES-CORPS.
The TGV station Saint-Pierre-desCorps is a 15 min drive, either by taxi or rental car, to the château or to Tours.

***Book train tickets on SNCF Connect (website or app). Ticket sales for TGV usually open ~4 months ahead of travel dates. Popular times sell quickly—start looking as soon as they’re released.

1. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to Tours
-
The station at Paris Aéroport Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle (CDG) is located between C/D and E/F concourses in Terminal 2.

-
Train travel time from Paris Aéroport Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle (TGV train station at the airport) to St-Pierre-des-Corps: ~ 1 hour 45 min.
